NOTE: You will have far fewer quizzes, HW assignments, tests and paper grades than in previous trimesters; that information is important because it means that each grade will carry much more weight than any one grade has carried in a previous trimester. This, of course, is due to having a lot fewer days in class because we have spring break and Israel trip.
Mon., Mar. 11 ALL BLKS: MF: PAY COM for 3-25,3-26; RAD as 3-25, 3-26. Roots 10 test. ASSIGN out-of-class reading assignment: a bio or autobio on a minority individual – not Jewish, however. The writing assignment for this out-of-class book is due are April 1 – not April Fool’s joke L. I will hand out the writing assignment; I will also send a letter to parents re: purchase of book if you do not check one out from DA Media center. HAND OUT Fahrenheit 451; assign due dates for Q&Qs every time and quiz followed by discussion; there will be a huge part of exam on Fahrenheit 451, but there will not be time for a test as well… Yes, you will be reading 2 books at once, as will often be the case in high school, which is right around the corner…
